Document: Area 51 There, But Without UFOs and Aliens
NewsTrend99 - Nevada - A U.S. government report recently opened to the public confirmed the existence of secret places in Nevada known as "Area 51". But the document also said that there was no UFO (Unidentified Flying Object), aliens (extraterrestrials) there.
In some wild stories about Area 51, the base was called to serve as a warehouse store that crashed UFO and alien bodies were found. The government's version of the story about Area 51, is less dramatic.
In a 400-page report from 1992 titled "The Central Intelligence Agency and Overhead Reconnaissance: The U-2 and Oxcart Programs, 1954-1974," historian Gregory Pedlow and Donald Welzenbach make detailed history of Area 51 as a testing ground for the military U-2 aircraft. U-2 aircraft flew much higher than commercial and military aircraft at the time, which allows the U.S. military to spy much more effectively in the Soviet Union and its allies during the Cold War.
In 1955, while surveying for a test site in Nevada, a group of people working on the U-2 project saw an old unpaved airstrip next to Groom Lake is remote and suitable for their needs. A rectangular vacant land, known as Area 51 on the map, it was added to the test site."To create a new facility in the middle of nowhere land sounds more attractive for workers, [Lockheed Martin engineer] Kelly Johnson called Paradise Ranch, which was soon shortened to Ranch (ranch)," said Pedlow and Welzenbach.
U-2 flying above 60,000 feet, while commercial aircraft in the 1950s and 1960s typically operated between 10,000 and 20,000 feet. One of the unexpected consequences of the test U-2 is increasing reports that there are unidentified flying objects, the report said.UFO reports from airline pilots are far more likely to come in the early evening flight from east to west. At that time, the U-2 is in the proper position for the wings to catch and reflect sunlight, creating the appearance of a fiery object in the sky. Sometimes, the sunlight bouncing off the body of U-2 and creates a sheen or reflection that can even be seen from the ground, said Pedlow and Welzenbach.
Air Force officials, who are bound to maintain the confidentiality of U-2 project and then project Oxcart secret, trying to explain the UFO sightings "connecting it with a natural phenomenon," the report said.
Reports of documents about Area 51 is obtained by the National Security Archive of George Washington University, through the Freedom of Information Act.
Some parts of the report was edited. Documents also show that the U.S. military was initially interested in hiring foreign pilots to test the U-2. The benefit, if the plane was shot down over enemy territory, it will be easier for the U.S. to deny his involvement. The names of the pilot was edited in a foreign country that opened the report. Because of language barriers and lack of experience with heavy aircraft, the Air Force finally recruit U.S. citizens.
The report also mentions about the three fatal accidents during testing 2-U in 1956. Pilot Wilburn S. Rose fell in May after he had trouble dropping "Pogos" her, which continues to keep the wheels U-2 wing parallel to the ground during takeoff. When he tried to shake one loose wheel, aircraft stalled and crashed.
Another accident occurred in August 1956 after a pilot Frank G. Grace brings too steep to climb aircraft during takeoff. Other accident occurred shortly after the U-2 took off in September 1956, at an Air Force base in Germany.
This latest document may not be completely eliminated conspiracy theories about Area 51, which is believed to be the place where the UFO and aliens.
Not a UFO, Area 51 Created To Spy Plane
NewsTrend99 - Washington - The U.S. government finally acknowledged the existence of Area 51 through the discovery of the latest CIA report detailing and mapped these hidden areas in Nevada.
NSA (National Security Archive) published a report entitled The Secret History of the U-2, referring to the spy plane that relied on the CIA during the cold war.
Documents about the history of the U-2 also provides many references to Area 51, the NSA disclose in reply to a Freedom of Information Act request filed in 2005.
The origins of Area 51 turns tightly bound in the history of the U-2. The CIA at the time it requires testing facility spy planes that are reliable and confidential on U.S. soil. They discovered what is now called Area 51 at Groom Lake on 12 April 1955.
Through some quick research, the region finally approved to be an ideal place to test the U-2 spy planes and other such oxcart made by Lockheed Aircraft.
U.S. President, Dwight D. Eisenhower also approved and then the region known as Area 51. At that time, Area 51 approved will be shown on the map as a small rectangular area adjacent to the Nevada Test Site.
Area 51 is known as the hidden areas that have not revealed the function and purpose and completely confidential. Theories about research drone also have long circulated among conspiracy theorists.
Conspiracy theorists and the general public during this figured out it's a UFO research center, aerospace technology, and storage of alien bodies from UFO crash on Earth, one of the fall of the UFO incident in Roswell, New Mexico, USA in 1947.
Now with diungkapnya much detail about Area 51, the NSA hopes the community and the world can better understand it.
"This marks the end of secrecy on Area 51," said Jeffrey Richelson, one of the parties that the report found documents with NSA, as preached LasVegasSun.
"This opens up the possibility that in the future other air projects in Area 51 can be explained in full," he added.
However, the general public and conspiracy theorists do not seem to believe him just like that. Many events and a number of strange sightings around the region.
A former employee of Area 51 even once admitted that he was aware of nine large hangar that holds UFO.
Even a prominent journalist known critical, Annie Jacobsen cites sources who told him that the debris from the Roswell UFO incident ended in Area 51 to do research.
Additionally, on July 21, 2013, the image of Google Earth photos taken in Area 51 found that there is a pyramid-shaped building with two objects suspected UFO flying around.
It seems for some people, Area 51 will remain a mystery until there are facts that are more credible to be revealed to the public rather than just a form of report document.
Mystery of "UFO" in Area 51 Revealed
Area 51 is the facility to test the spy plane of the U.S..
NewsTrend99 - Puzzle one of the most mysterious places in the world, Area 51, revealed. Facilities owned by the United States military secrets in the Nevada desert were previously connected with UFO research by the U.S. military.
As reported by NBCnews, August 18, 2013, Area 51 was the facility to test the spy plane of the U.S., U-2, as well as other secret aircraft.
Certainty was revealed in a document titled "The Central Intelligence Agency and Overhead Reconnaissance: The U-2 and Oxcart Programs" owned agency CIA.
The document was actually released last June to meet FOI requests submitted National Security Archive, George Washington University in 2005. "This officially marks the completion of secrecy about the fact Area 51," said Jeffrey Richelson, a researcher of the National Security Archive.
The document also describes how U.S. military officials involved in the search for a suitable location for the trial project planning secret spy plane in the Nevada desert last April 1955.Finally, the military officials chose airstrip near Groom Lake or near the lake northeast Nevada Proving Ground, a facility owned by Energy Commissions (AEC).
CIA chronicler, Gregory Pedlow and Donald Welzenbach said, the site is called Paradise Ranch or Paradise ranch was first tested U-2 aircraft on August 4, 1955. Then over the years is also used for the U-2 pilot training.
Groom Lake facility has been used for the development of the successor spy plane. Including the Lockheed A-12 and D-21 Oxcart tagboard, stealth ground attack aircraft was also the only one in the world belong to the U.S. Air Force, the F-117.
Due to the confidential nature of the high and the facilities are heavily guarded, both from land and air, led to speculation that the facility was contained sightings of mysterious flying objects or UFOs for decades.
UFO sightings reported claims that it supported the lighting conditions in the afternoon in the air. Because, when the sun will sink, aircraft at an altitude of 20 thousand feet will appear dark, while the U-2 is still able to catch the glint of the sun light despite being at an altitude of 60 thousand feet.
The two authors also add the U-2 and Oxcart contribute more than half of all UFO reports of the 1950s and most reports in the 1960s, although this claim is disputed UFO investigator, Stanton Friedman.
